Apparently Helix's latest "Universal Gateway" product will stream both windows media and real. Does anyone know if there is a problem with with streaming windows media 9 from this product, rather than using Windows 2003 server? We are having some serious account problems with windows 2003 and streaming windows media 9, and if we can just upgrade our current realserver to this product, it would fix everything!

Any info is welcome...

Kyxpyx Technologies is about to release version 2 of its media streaming package named "Kasterblaster".

If you would be interested in details then please pm me or e-mail me here.

Kasterblaster has 100% support for all windows media x & 9 formats for on demand media streaming, and uses its on compression techniques to decrease bandwidth consumption.

Real Format On-Demand streaming is currently still in testing, but should be finished shortly.

The software will be available for public purchase within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks
Dan
