They closed the food court on the second floor across from Grand Chow Chow (sp?)🙁

They are turning it into lofts (who on earth would want a loft in chinatown? My mom would not even live in Chinatown)

I went there today to get some filet steak hong kong style and all i saw was closed doors with loose wood everywhere🙁 i went somewhere else to get some filet steak and this place on gave me plate that only had 2 small filets🙁 Today is a sad day for Gibson486🙁

Unfortunately, that's the direction chinatown is going in. Business owners keep caving into big money. There's probably 3-4 NEW condo building in the last couple of years. In a decade, it's not going to be really Chinatown anymore.

The planned area for Chinatown was initially supposed to be 2x as big, but then the Central Artery took a big portion of it and Tufts took some space. Now condo places are cropping up along the edges..

I was really disappointed in the Chinatown in DC and I'm afraid that's where the Boston one is headed..
