about your radeon 8500 benchmark...

At digit life the radeon 8500 benchmarks faster then the geforce3 ti500

Not to mention, in your nforce benchmark...aren't you supposed to use a 2nd ram chip to utilize the twinbank memory architecture?

You only used one...
 
Wasen't it told that the Palomino can't take advantage of the large memory bandwith that nforce has?

lol you gonna give the man 2 hours to answer? you should have taken this up in the articles forum btw, might have gotten some responses from others.
 
I doubt Anand will answer. If he answered every post from his 75,000+ members he would not have the time to run a business and write articles.. I will say this is probably the most accurate and unbiased site on the net. Ask yourself what he has to gain by manufacturing benchies? And what he has to loose by doing the same?

The Digit Life benchmarks were primarily synthetic DX8 tests where the Radeon 8500 does significantly better than the GeForce3 line (I showed this in my 3DMark scores). If you look at most real-world gaming benchmarks however the same does not hold true.

As far as the nForce goes, I did test the 420-D with two SDRAM sticks in order to enable the full 128-bit wide memory bus. The performance improvement was negligable without enabling the integrated video because the Athlon is not able to take advantage of the additional memory bandwidth as it is FSB limited.
