To all WP8 owners!!!

I installed it on both 8Xs in my house. I had to wait a while for the app to be available in the store after it was announced this afternoon.

I need to get on this now that I can download it.

Wait. I have a Lumia 920 and it has been on my phone since I bought it.

Seriously though, it is good to see Nokia Drive being released for use on all WP8 devices. It makes "derp no gud maps" an even less valid complaint than before.

Is IE still terrible on WP8?

No, it really is not.

gee, that so makes up for the fact that internet explorer cant even do drop down menus properly

Weren't you the one that was complaining about the drop down menu-text field issue? It's been fixed:

Also, it is utterly irrelevant to this thread.

Nokia Drive+ now available to all wp8 devices in United States, Canada and the UK.

Definitely very good news for HTC fans. The lack of Nokia Drive is one of the primary reasons I went with the 920 over the 8x. Had this been available in November I might have gone HTC.

I have no idea what you're talking about. My HTC Titan dealt with drop down menus fine, so does my Lumia 920.

i just tried on amazon the other day on a lumia in the verizon store. still couldnt do it, maybe they havent updated their demos. someone else said that websites had to rewrite their code for windows to drop downs properly, like theyre really going to do that so the half a percent of people who have win8 phones can access their site

You do understand that Windows 8 uses the same browser engine, and after one quarter there have already been 60 million copies sold? Compatibility with internet explorer carries more weight than you seem to think.

So I went to Amazon.com just now on my Lumia 920. I tapped the Shop by Department button, and the menu popped open:

I then tapped kindle, and the side menu opened like so:

I then tapped Kindle Paperwhite and got details on the new reader. I also checked the search dropdown and a few others without issue.
