Since the quake, a lot of my friends and few relatives are talking about moving to some other place. My parents are thinking about moving to Delaware. Any of you deciding the same. If so, what is the best place to go in terms of living and education. I don't want to leave, because I really want to go to UW bothell for my degree. But my parents are considering other options.

What you guys think is it a good idea. there is a huge talk of more devastating earth quakes coming soon. :(

Yeah, I'm moving. But just a few blocks down the street. :)

Edit: Hmm.. Right now the cheap-a$$ room I'm looking at doesn't seem so tempting if the "big one" is coming.

Other than the imminent threat of THE BIG ONE toppling your house like domino's at any second ... do you like the city where you are now?

I don't think I'd ever move from the Pacific NorthWest to Delaware.

I still think we are pretty safe in WA. You hear much more about natural disasters happening in the midwest and east coast. I can handle an earthquake every 50 years if I don't have to worry about tornados and hurricanes.

He has seen the light. Just about the only bad we thing get in the Pacific NorthWest is constant bad weather and only two seasons.

9 months of rain, clouds and cold.
3 months of summer

Other than that and THE BIG ONE it's the best place in the country to live.

Nope, our house was perfectly intact even though it is over 35 years old. Also a reason for not moving is that I'm still only 17 :), and I really can't go very far with the $$$ I have.
