Go watch the movie Lagaan. IT is amazing!! And if your non-Indian/Pakistani and don't understand hindi get the subtitle version!! Its amazing!! I got many people who hate indian movies to actually enjoy that one!! Its not stupid or anything like that...very nice plot and character buildup!!!

Kinda like Gladiators in terms of the main character saving the world...although this movie was started much longer ago.

whos in it? I havent seen an indian movie for the longet time, reason being that all of them are corny and full of crap. The saving grace is the fact that there a LOT of hot bollywood actresses in these new movies.

Aamir Khan is in it..and no its not corny or anything like that. THat's the reason why I don't watch that many hindi movies either...but this is one is different...trust me!!

You'll pissed off, angry..and then happy..then angry again..then finally its all worth in the end. It really plays with your emotions..especially if your Indian at heart...

Just watch it...you'll enjoy it...plus the songs are good..they are done by AR Rahman..and its not like his recycled stuff..its actually different and enjoyable.

saw it last night at home with my parents. All I can say is that my mom has connections that i never knew of.. this is a brand new movie... and we had it on tape.. and it wasnt pirated too.. the best part it had subtitles(which wasnt a problem cause I can read/speak/write hindi).

I liked the movie and definetely the story line has something unique. Its Amir Khan's second directorial film. The first was JJWS (Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar - that cycling race movie that inspired me to take up road racing and lead my high school team).

Anyway.. worth seeing the movie if your a cricket fan too.

Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar?? I never heard of that? Is it any good??

I was really impressed by this movie, I mean it was simply amazing!! It played with my emotions, mainly over the British ruling, and made me so angry at one point that I didn't want to see the movie anymore cause I probably couldn't take it.

the Music in Lagaan was really good too! It didn't sound like previous stuff my AR Rahman (that's not a bad thing) but it was fresh and 'hummable'. Really blended with the movie.
