what kind of av outputs does it have in the back? what would i need to play it on my computer with a 4.1 system and TV card?

it has the regular RCA outs red white and yellow. you would need a video in and some sound inputs im guessing. dont know the specifics cauuse i run mine through my receiver with 7.1 sorround. sounds amazing.

I for one am a huge audio phile I have invested alot in my sound system and that primarily is why i dont own a ps2 .The digital output is low grade ,it only supports dts and dolby dig. output on dvds and very very limited cut scenes in games(such as fmv/cg scenes)It puts out stereo and has no built in pro logic 2.My denon reciever has pro logic 2 decoding any ways but i doubt many people own pro logic II decoders Its not to old yet.The xbox on the other hand sounds truly amazing high quality output that surpasses sony's ps2 and true real time surrond at all times and all games so far.

the ps2 is quite old by now........

and its not going to be great dts or dd. But would have been nice if it was higher sound for people like you. My only sight thing with the ps2 is the jaggies. And lack of hardware AA......

How does a 17 year old afford a $3800 receiver?

work the sub was 250 thats with insurance i believe i took it apart and lined the walls with polyfill also.my desk has alot of nice stuff on it but im still very uncomfortable want me to tale a snap shot?

saftey nice receiver. i hate you. i wish i had that kinda money. looks like your runnina nice system. glad to see someone else has wharfedales other them me. im runnin 2 wharfedale sapphire blue SP-87s. really amazing. running 2 advent 3 driver towers as the rear cant remember teh model # off hand. infinity centers and JBL subs. runnin off a decent harmon kardon reciever and a bryson power amp cause i like my sh!ts loud.

o and the PS2 may not have buily in dolby whatever but they write it into the new games. SSX tricky, GT3 and others have the decoding on the disk. and it sounds just like normal sorround sound.
