i think many of the obtuse are missing the point, some perhaps on purpose.
the point of this thread is not seeking a "handout" (ROFL) or reparations, but rather to illustrate that americans is the LAST nation who have any business to preach about "stolen land" or who should give what back, but many hypocrites fell justified in doing so.
so then if the palestinians are "justified in doing what they are doing, would the iroquois, mohawk, cherokee, or commanche be just as "justified" in doing the same thing for the same reason? of course not! but it is a VERY safe assumption many think the palestinians should do this would feel VERY different when their families started getting blown up in restaurants and retirement homes!
the reactions to this post show the sad state of people in this nation. in hindsight i do not know why i posted this, in my misguided optimism i thought that a few people might want to engage in a serious conversation, but as usual all many can do is attack me personally in an atempt to perhaps feel better about themselves while being rude, crass, boorish, but "kewl" seeking admiration and getting it from the equally imbecilic.
red dawn, as far as people not taking this seriously, i am not surprised. most hypocrites only take themselves seriously, it is a part of being who and what they are.
tripleshot, you have missed the point so utterly it is amazing. but to address some of your concerns, i do not want a handout. i do not want reparations, in fact, i am not even enrolled as per the dawes act so as NOT to get any special treatment, i sink or swim on my own and i do not need an orange card issued byt the US govt. to define my personage![i/] i am also half irish and cherish that part of me just as much!
