Unless the Taliban can miraculously turn millions of dollars worth of food into cold hard American greenbacks, I'm pretty sure the vast majority, if not all the money went to the Afghani citizens which IMHO are being held hostage by a fundamentalist group of bullies. I truly believe that the citizens of Afghanistan would overthrow their government if given the ability to do so - they're not the enemy. The fact of the matter is there are a few tyrannical fundamentalist pigs in that area that hold far too much power....until now that is.

The world really should take this opportunity to get rid of the Taliban government and let the Northern Alliance rule, whether they hand over Bin Laden or not.

From what I hear, when the boarders to Afg. get closed (as every surronding country has announced plans to do should the US wish it) they will be in serious trouble. We may not even have to fight them with bullets
