I could never get my stb velocity 4400 on bios version 1.10 to work! can someone explain to me why this is??
it really sucks because i cant upgrade farther than 98 original!!! someone please help me! i am in dire need of an upgrade 🙂
 
Now that the STB name is just a play thing for 3Dfx I think you will find support a pain.
As for the problem, you maybe should check to see what the card is doing with its IRQ (it maybe sharing with something). You dont say how far you get with these OS' before they start playing up, maybe disabling some things like AGP sidebanding would allow them to function properly.
