TNT 2 Problem

OK have sold a tnt2 (asus 3800 agp 32meg) to a mate at work but hes having problems getting it to go. Not the card's problem as it goes fine on my computer and his mates too.
His motherboard is a chaintech 6btm bx motherboard.

he had a tnt1 before and it works fine if he pops it back in, any ideas?

Has he removed the existing drivers, set the video card to Standard VGA, popped in the card, then reinstalled the latest drivers?

As above:
Is he sure it is getting fully down into the slot?
Could possibly be a weak power supply as well.

yup its set on standard vga, its definitely fully down in the slot. not sure if its the power supply but i doubt it. his tower is 230 watts i think.

about the drivers, its not even booting up into windows so it cant be that?

any other ideas?
