I noticed that the graphics are distorted while watching football. It's like an over compressed jpeg, is this a TV problem or are they compressing the graphics?
This seems like more appropriate use of the "RANT" prefix. I'm holding OP hostage with a negative rep until he fixes the prefix!

He was only talking about the graphics, which is an overlay. I'm betting they just didn't give a flying F about how they looked, or they had trouble with the graphics back end and not smart enough to fix it. A lot of football this season had terrible graphics.Live events are more difficult for broadcasters to compress. They don't have the benefit of multi-pass encoding to reduce the appearance of compression artifacts.
It was a great game. Philip Rivers is better then I thought. I figured the chiefs would win. What a shocker!
No issues with the graphics, may have been your carrier
