Probably a fake.
My predictions for the iPhone 6
-It will have an Apple logo on the back
-It will have a touch screen of some sort
-It will run iOS 8
-It will be obscenely expensive to buy off contract
That screen looks pretty crappy for IPS. Probably a Chinese knockoff.
I'm leaning towards a fake.
If you look at the image Feld & Volk leaked, the home button on the front plate is basically at the bottom of the device.

That doesn't match these pictures from TMZ:

I think F&V have the real parts, personally.
Also, one more inconsistency, it seems every leak has the device having a very small hole for the front facing proximity sensor. Same as the 5/5S. This has an ugly long black bar for the prox sensor and it's not flush or even with other components.

Shens, TMZ.
that black bar will only show on white phones (because it's black) and on black it's almost hidden. The placement of that is awkward though... It usually is on top of the speaker..
I think just about every tech site was mocking them for posting it. Those pics had already come out as a Chinese knockoff running Android.
But if they filled the bands with metal, how would the radio transmission get through cleanly?

Liquid metal is radio transparent.

The SIM ejector tool is made of liquid metal? I haven't seen one of those in a long time.

Riiiight. Also, that phone is running iOS 7, not iOS 8. Fake.
I wonder how much they paid for it.
