TMPGEnc Encoder Keeps Freezing, HELP ME

I have used this program before, but every time i try to make a vcd compliant mpg out of this one wmv file i have it stops on frame 69/17732. What the hell is wrong w/ it. i've tried everything i can think of. anyone?

yeah but contrary to the name vcdhelp, they offered me little help.

Sounds to me like the file is corrupt. Does it freeze on other files? Can you cut the file right after the place it freezes?
