Everything I add a divx video file that was around 240 MB it always seems to grow by 74 MB about. Why ? I am using TMPGEnc DVD Author with divx authoring. I don't want the 240 MB video file to grow at all because I want to be able to fit 18 of them on one dvd. Really would like to make a pretty menu for them though. I know I need a divx ultra dvd player to be able to see the menu. I do. Don't think many people do this.

When I add a 240 MB divx file the file size grows to 314 MB which is 74 MB more than it originally was. It is big deal anyway not even sure if all dvd players are ultra if they are not it won't matter or work. I emailed them anyway.

man, you gotta work on your grammer or something. i know mines bad but i have to say wat? again;)

my guess is that its got some standard encoding bitrate that is higher than the input file. did you modify this. and most dvd players cant play divx, let alone "ultra" for menus.

Actually a lot of dvd players now can play divx files. Not every one but a good amount. A lot more than ever could before. I know my dvd player does.

Is the menu using video for the thumbnails? Just burn the stupid files to a dvd.
