I've been thinking of switching my service to Tmobile and I was checking out their website last week. The Samsung E315 phone was free all week but when I was ready with all of my information on Wednesday to switch, the phone was back up to $199.99 so I had to pay for it. Now, less than a week later, it's back to free. Is there anyway that I can call Tmobile and get them to refund my money?
It's BS that the day that I have my info to switch over, the phone is back up to the full price and the next day it's free again.

How are we supposed to know if T-Mobile will refund your money or not? *slaps forehead* Call them and ask!

That's how sales go, though. You can walk in to a store and buy an item for full price. The next day they might have the item on sale half off or something. You just lucked out.

This happens all the time. I remember working for GM and customers asking what the sales prices are, but they're only eligible for discounts that are available at the time they take delivery of the car. If they order a car because the dealer doesn't have one on the lot that they like, they're not going to get the discounts available when they ordered. They'll get the discounts available when they take delivery of the vehicle (when they sign on the dotted line to make the vehicle legally theirs).

Couple options for you.

Is this a WLNP situation? (did you bring a number from another provider) If so this is going to be harder.

If there is no number portability involved take everything you have back to your place of purchase & give it all back. Within 14 days you can cancel with no penalty. You will have to pay a prorated service charge (for the time you used the phone, prorated off your monthly plan price) unless you made no calls. Then go somewhere else & sign up again.

If you did port a number it gets tricky, I'm not 100% sure what will happen. The number may return to your old provider, it may not.

Call T-Mobile first if you ported a number & see what they can offer you.
