so tmobile along with other carriers offer a 30 day tryout period on your phone in california. i want to switch over to them, since my att contract is almost up. i was wondering if anyone knows that if you cancel within the 30 days do you still get charged the activation fee? i am find paying for the minutes i use. but i don't want to pay for the activation fee if i don't end up keeping the service. anyone know anymore about this? its 14 days for other states, i'm just curious about the activation fee.

I think they keep the activation fee (not sure). You can also try prepaid until you decide if you want to get a post paid acct.

the phone i want is not avail on prepaid... i guess i'll just call 2mor. unless some ATOTers have insight.
