Tmobile is GSM you just take the sim card from the old phone put it in the back of the new phone and it's ready to go.

pending you had prior service with t-mobile.

all you do is swap the chip into your new phone.
Yep, I'm with TMo, and just coincidentally got a new phone myself today. Swapped the chip out of my e315 and into my new h6315, and made a test call to my brother's phone right away with no problems.

If you new GSM phone sells with a service plan, it's already activated, if not (no contract), just pop in your old sim card & you're good to go.

yea i bought a phone that's a tmobile phone, i made sure to do that cus i didnt want to have to pay the premium to get an unlocked phone

i just got the phone and it says in the manual that if ur upgrading and put in ur old SIM card your going to need to enter an PIN and after 3 unsuccessful tries it locks itself. its charging right now so i wonder if this is a concern or just a warning

You can type "successful" but you can't type "you're" or "your"?
