I know there's a bunch of Tampa folks here and TMBG is truly "nerd music" (you have to be a nerd to hang out at ATOT for hours on end).

Figure we could have another "ATOT Tampa Reunion". 🙂

Yakko! You coming? I'll drive. 😛

But it's THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS!

the live show is insane! Last time I went there was moshing in the pit and then a conga line formed! Who else can you go see and have a conga line through a mosh pit!?

Intake77: Not true. Last time I went, my wife and I started front and center. All of the sudden, when TMBG played some of the harder songs like Subliminal and Self Called Nowhere body parts started flying everywhere and one kid got whacked in the face breaking his nose. :Q Not pleasant. Then, just like none of this happened, they start a congo line that went through the whole landing. It was very surreal. My wife and I got pushed off to the side, which was fine by me because a broken nose is not a good way to end a night.

This year I have a srategy: I already have my tickets, get there early, buy all my beer ahead of time, and find an amp to sit on. 😉

There was no moshing at the last TMBG show I went to, but there was one hell of a conga line. That was fun. 😉

The only time I was fortunate enough to see them was because I drove 10 hours to Cleavland! It was totally worth it, that show rocked!

No real mosh pit there, and that show (4 years ago) was all ages.

the three times ive seen TMBG, there has been absolutely no rowdiness at all... they are a happy band 😉 maybe it just matters where you attend a show? i dont know!

Well, Jannus landing is a VERY TIGHT venue, so I'm sure that ANY band that plays there is going to have a restless crowd.

I'd go except for the following 2 problems:

1) I live in Utah

2) I'd have to blow my head off after listening to the CRAP for 2 straight hours. 😉

Enjoy!
