I'm a huge fan of TLC's Overhaulin', the show where the driver gets tricked, and the car gets tricked out.

I've always wondered just how many people who are getting their cars tricked out actually know what's going on, and are just playing along? The reason I say this is that they use the same guy every show to do the telephone pranks, and any fan of Overhaulin' can certainly recognize his voice. Another dead giveaway is the giant plastic clipboard that they stick in your face. Gee, I wonder if there's a microphone in there? Duh!!! Anyway, I'm pretty sure many of the guys who have been tricked out are totally aware of what's happening. Afterall, they most likely watch the show and probably went online to have their car entered.
 
Foose is a god, and that chick should take her clothes off every show.

And I'd imagine they've been tipped off once in a while, just because sometimes it looks like they'd've run out of time, but since the show isn't live...

I like the show too and wonder how many people catch on. I wish they wouldn't tell untill they show the car. Also I wish they would stop showing the Lance Armstrong episode.

Foose is highly talented. He can make a career out of just selling his drawings. And yes, that chic needs to get naked.
 
I imagine at least a third of the people know they are being "Overhauled" and are just playing along. It's the same thing every episode. Car goes missing, investigator calls, investigator wants victim to identify the thieves, bla bla bla.... Every fan of Overhaulin' can recognize the guys voice on the phone. Besides, when you car does get stolen, insurance investigators don't call you 5 times a week. Heck, you'd be lucky if you even got through to them.
 
I don't think the people know, I mean as long as they believe their car is stolen it's pretty easy to prank them. But I do find the two Hollywood hosts to be annoying, I usually just tune in for the reveal.

100% agree about Foose. The girl, while hot, annoys the hell out of me... this show isn't for her imho.
 
The show just about always ends in tears.

The vette that had sat in the garage so long that they built some of the garage around it stands out as my favorite. Foose and Daddy Foose worked on it.

As others have said Foose is god.

lol yes Foose is AWESOME. What a great guy. The chick just seems awkward. Looks like a robot.

 
Foose is a badass, and the chick is hot. I like watching the show, but i cant see how they can do a good job on a frame off resto in just a week.

Did anyone see what Foose did to Christopher Titus' car on rides, it wasnt what the show was about, but he showed the car. The engine cover was insane, that car was beautiful.

Yeah, it is a "Boss" Expedition now IIRC.

If I ever have millions Foose will be my first phone call.
