TLC (The Learning Channel)

Rudee

What a bummer. TLC use to be such a great channel for interesting television programming, now it's quickly turning into crap. It seems like all they're showing now is these repetitive shows about home renovation or redecorating. So much for what was once a very interesting channel.

Definitely. I love the history channel--it's awesome.

Yep, Both History Channels are great. Discovery is OK, and TLC has gone to crap with all the estrogen charged crap it's running now. "Discovery Times" channel has become an ultra liberal propaganda channel (what do you expect? It's run by the NY Times) but thankfully Discovery Science still remains somewhat objective.

The bummer is that Discovery HD still doesn't have much material to show, so it shows the same stuff over and over again. It's latest series, "Arctic Mission" has been beautiful to watch, but far too much fanatical enviro-nut propaganda to stomach.

TLC is just horrible. At least change the name to The Redecorating Channel so those looking for educational programming know to skip over it.

It went from yay to gay.

They should rename it "The Makeover Channel." All they do is makeover ugly women or ugly houses.

Yeah, I hate What Not to Wear and home decordting stuff. That is half of their shows now along with the Discovery Channel with American Chopper and other crap like that. History Channel is the only real eductional channel that has held to its roots.

TLC rocked way back in the mid 90's.

Shows like Ancient Warriors and Battles That Changed the World were my favourites.

Even A&E was way better 10 years ago.
