What am I paying for with my subscription?
Can the pause and record feature be used without the subscription?
TIA

I almost never use any of the services. If I cancelled, I can still pause and rewind?

Yes, you can still pause and rewind but you'll end up setting every show's start and end time... no favorites, lists. Basically, it becomes a vcr with the ability to watch things as they're being recorded.

No. I don't watch that much tv. I watch what is on when I am home.

Then you are missing out on the beauty that is TiVo... Record what you LIKE to watch, and then watch it whenever you feel like it, instead of watching whatever crap happens to be on.
