I received my new Roamio OTA yesterday and proceeded to set it up. Unfortunately the device goes into an infinite do-loop during set up. Once complete it restarts the process!
A couple of calls to Tivo reveals that this is a KNOWN ISSUE and they are working "very hard" to resolve the problem. Which, of course, does me no good.
I'm going to sit on this for a day or so to see what happens. After that, call the credit card company and return the device.
Key question: Why would you send out a device you know does not work?
My advice to would-be purchasers: Hold off until they get their act together.
