TiVo Recording Headache

OK..pulling my hair out. (What little I have left.) I have a Sanyo dual burn DVD/VCR. My TiVo box has ALL outputs Except the HDMI & RF coax outputs disabled. (My provider-Armstrong Cable,) says that TiVo disabled all other outputs for copyright protection. Now the monkey wrench...The Sanyo is old enough that it doesn't have an HDMI input.
So..how and the heck can I hook this up to get video from the TiVo PVR to my burner to record? Anyway to convert the HDMI output from the TiVo box to either: composite video, or S-video inputs to my Sanyo? (Without using 2 or 3 converter box's.)
My training is in Microwave RF, Amateur Radio repair, and not much in Video. Anyone have any ideas to help?
Tnx
Dave

Thanks A5 for your post.
The "why" is that I am trying to mate 2016 technology to 2002 technology. My $600 Sanyo dual burner isn't broke, so I would like to still use it-if possible. The problem is marrying the new "everything digital" to the analog inputs of the older machine. I'll check the converter out. Might be the only way to do it.
