Has anyone successfuly add a 2nd HDD to a Series 2 Tivo? I'm looking into getting one, and would rather add my own hard drive for a fraction of the "offical" cost. If anyone has a link to the directions they used successfuly, I'd appreciate it greatly.

well, from what i've hread, you can only do that with replay tv
maybe someone else knows
all i know that you can do with tivo is replace the hd but you have to copy an image of the tivo drive over to the new drive and make sure its formatted correctly so that the tivo will recongnize it
