To my amazement, I could not find this at Frys!! Anyone know where I can pick one up, haven't seen many deals on the wireless adapaters so I figure just go the wired route.

You can't just convert the cable. Do you think you could plug your monitor into your sound card an it'll work?
You can, however, get a USB NIC just about anywhere.

I have one that came with my UPS that I never used.. but since I just moved it's gonna take a whole lot of digging to find out which box I put it into :frown:
That's not going to work. Those are just serial cables.Originally posted by: LordSnailz

Why? the drivers are already on your Tivo

And to the others, its not a direct USB to Ethernet, its basically and external NIC that connect to a PC (or in this case to a Tivo) via USB instead of being internal.
Man, you'd think someone would've said that by now.Originally posted by: blazert40
That won't work, that is just to send a signal to your PC when your UPS is running on battery so it can shut down the PC properly without it just shutting off.
