Some people did not buy a TiVo b/c they did not have a landline connection.

Download the TiVo scheduling info, software updates, reset internal clock, etc, w/o having to use your landline. Also, Tivo has some VOD plans with Blockbuster....

I'm not sure about network drive capabilities at this time, however.
