Tivo and Logitiech z560 question

Maybe a stupid question, but does the Tivo have a TV tuner built in? For example, if I buy a LCD monitor that doesn't have a TV tuner built in, can I use my Tivo with it?

Also, I've got some older Logitech z560 speakers. Is the only way to hook these up to a TV set up via a HTPC?

I don't have a Tivo so I'm not really sure what the deal is with them.

z-560s could hook up to anything with analog audio output. You could get 2.1 operation easily from something that does have a tuner along with analog audio output. To get fake 4.1 going, the "M3D" option on the control pod would get the back speakers going a bit too, although I never really cared for the effect.
