I read an article in the paper a few weeks ago, about a local university having to abolish the men's wrestling team to comply with the Title IX. I have to believe that this was not the intention of the lesbians, woops I mean women athletes, who fought for the Title IX law.
Back in the day when I was in high school (about 2 years ago), most of the after school clubs would be predominantly female. You don't hear too much about this though. The feminazis have kept it a well guarded secret.
IMO, there's no system in place to screw girl's out of taxpayer money, it's just that more of them are interested in non-athletic after school events than athletic after school events - which makes sense. I would like to see one of the - few hundred thousand by my estimates - guys who have been cheated out of the right to play college/high-school sports take to court the government on this issue. If they have laws mandating that sports teams must be abolished if there isn't a proportionate male/female athletic involvement ratio, why don't they have similar laws mandating that non-athletic school clubs be abolished if there aren't enough guys participating?
Of course the objective of this is not to get such a law passed, but rather to get the goofy Title IX abolished because of the inconsistency of principle.
Cheers.
