I bought it off a friend, who bought it at the Best Buy sell..

if that is the case, is it still possible to RMA it?
I don't have the receipt or anything, jus the card itself.

Just go out and buy a new chipset hs/fan for it. Got a crystal Orb for $10.

just call visiontek up and see if they'll honor the warranty. i think they have like a one year warranty on their cards. not too sure. but calling wouldnt hurt.

The card was bought in the U.S.'s Best Buy, and I am in Canada. Is it possible to get an exchange in Canada's Best buy?

yeah definately check out bb.

but more then likely if its past their period of exchange/return they wont honor it. they'll tell you to go through visiontek.

I think the period for refund/exchange has expired already... So I might as well call Visiontek on Monday and ask them about it.

If you can't RMA it, just buy a replacement fan or new HSF. Won't cost you much.

It's always worth a try. But you won't be out too much $ if you can't.
