Joined golds yesterday. Getting in a workout felt great after a month of no lifting. Cheaper than advertised. 25 bucks a month no contract or enrollment fee. If I had known it was that cheap, it would be a no brainer.

This is an exaggeration at best. I go to a lot of gyms, been to a lot of gyms.... not that many people have decent builds/aesthetics.
In fairness, a lot there is going to come down to a person's goals. I mean, I'm 6'3", 180. Suffice it to say, you'd be pretty justified in saying that I'm a twig with a terrible build. But ... in my chosen sport, people *gush* about the aesthetics of my build. To the point where it can actually sometimes be kind of annoying, as I'd rather be getting compliments on my actual performance.

I'm afraid it's far, far worse than that. I'll give up any hope of ever having credibility here by responding ballroom dancing. Not, I'd like to be *very* clear, like on Dancing With the Stars. Think more the stuff they sometime show on PBS. There's actually a fair bit of athleticism involved for serious competitors. But you can see why my goals would be somewhat different than many of the posters on this subforum.

Nice, that's not too bad. Good luck and keep up with the healthy diet, too.
