He's so over rated. In college it was like a man playing against boys with him. In the Pro's it's like a fat tub playing against elite Athletes.

Yup, he's a mediocore QB that everyone makes out to be a top 5 player.

I haven't heard anyone making him out as a top 5 player in quite some time. The most recent thing I've read was basically bench VY and play Collins.

Not recently - but it's all I heard about in the offseason. Got annoying, I must say.

Maybe the Top 5 of Homers like you from Texas but for those with even a little credibility he's not.

Based on what he did as a rookie it was looking like a damn bright future and I don't have an issue with anyone saying positive things about him. Obviously this season has been a bad one but as a Titans fan I hope it's just a sophomore slump.

Just keep in mind Favre had 19 TD and 24 INT in his 3rd season. I'm not saying VY will be Favre but it's hard to judge a QB in their 2nd or 3rd year.

Considering how young (as a pro quarterback) he is, he's done a decent job bringing the Titans to the playoffs...While he certainly doesn't get all the credit...he's only one member of the team, without a decent quarterback, even a great team wouldn't get this far.

If I have to see the Merriman dance one more time I am going to puke. Your team had a horrible first half. I didnt see the Titans partying like its 1999. Be happy you came out and played a good second half, but dont throw it in the opponent's face. High fives and butt slaps are one thing, but this is over the top.

Yeah those guys are a bit over the top. I like how Vanden Bosch handles his sacks/big time tackles... he knocks them down then gets back up and runs away ready to go at it again.

The Jaguars are a physical team and will run the ball on New England, whether they can get enough pressure on Brady is the question.

The Jags are a beast. I would not be surprised if they beat the Pats next week.

Cant wait to see Manning hand it to them next week.. Oh, and you won't see Indy dancing around the field on every sack/tackle when they are up by 4 TD's.

I expect a tight game but I think the Pats have to many weapons for the Jags.

next week should be an interesting game. the san diego defense these past few years have owned manning and if they can get some consistency from rivers then they should give the colts a good, competitive game with it going either way for both teams.

New England/Boston is the epitome of classlessness. Ranging from coaches who cheat and don't shake hands after games to fans who throw batteries at opponents.

I think they learned that trick from Raider fans...That's pretty common at Raider games...not only at opponents, but at anyone who dares to root for the opposing team as well...

lol @ the vince haters. he had one of the worst receiving corps in the league this year, and his most reliable target got injured and didn't play this game. but yeah, vince is terrible because he couldn't put the entire team on his back and carry them once the defense started to wear down, lol.

Donovan McNabb put up better numbers with receivers just as bad earlier in his career. You can blame the receivers, or his youth, or say he's not a "numbers QB"....or you can face reality. He's just not that good.

Vince Young is a terrible passer, period.

I just compiled a list of interception percentage and got this..

Brian Griese 4.58%
Vince Young 4.45%
Tarvaris Jackson 4.08%
Kellen Clemens 4.00%
Marc Bulger 3.97%
Damon Huard 3.92%
Eli Manning 3.78%
Kurt Warner 3.77%
Tony Romo 3.65%
Kyle Boller 3.64%
Derek Anderson 3.61%

There's no arguing it, Vince makes bad decisions, has poor form, and can't complete a pass when he needs to. The Titans should've stuck in Kerry Collins to get something going, as it was clear with Vince being limp he was not going to be a factor.

Not only is his int % high, his td % is a meager 2.4%. Both stats worse than last year. Plus, last year he was a big running threat - not so much this year, his ypc down 2.5 from last year, and less than half the TDs (on more carries).

I mean, it's pretty obvious that he regressed this year. Obviously he had pretty poor receivers, but that doesn't explain all of his problems.

Yup. We're all a bunch of classless losers.

Come on, man. Every team has the asshole portion of its fanbase - the Patriots are no exception. And I'm pretty sure that ANY team's fans would be getting on the league's nerves after being so good for so long.

As for the Chargers, they don't really bother me. They won their first playoff game in a long time - that's worthy of a lot of celebrating. For once, the playoffs has the matchups everyone wants to see. Chargers / Colts and Pats / Jags.

Here's pulling for a Pats / Colts AFC Championship game!
