I enjoyed it ... not one of my all-time favorites though & certainly not up to all the hype it generated.

I have a problem with movies like Titanic. The kind of movies that show people trapped with no escape. I can't watch those kind of movies.

It was a movie made with the single purpose of winning academy awards and it was succesful. Personally I didn't enjoy it.

But it did show some people escape and showed human nature in the process. For example, there were a few instances in the movie. Like when Jack was handcuffed and was trapped, then Rose comes and frees him. It is a bit different and I know what you are talking about. I agree that in the end, we knew what was going to happen.

good movie. a lot to learn from it.

overall, movie won best dress up and the sound score was very original.

touching or not, it was a break through as one of Hollywood's finest movies in the world. in China, where it was "awed" as overly fantastic, we know that if any movie making studios in the world are to match that of the United States, "they" have come a long way.

by the way... the best Trance song of Walk on Water is yet to be listened to. I'm still searching...
