Because it has an axial fan and a 3-slot cooler to begin with, you need 4 slots of space per Titan Z. Might as well just get 4 780s...

The gallery shows 2 different types of cards: one with the 2.5 slot shroud and one with the full 3 slot shroud. I think the latter is correct.

This card is made to replace the Quadro, Basically all a Quardo ever was is an over priced version of what ever the current GeForce card is. But the Quardo was higher priced than this, so they made the Z at a cheaper price point.

You could always get 2 Titan Blacks if you needed the Compute power & bag the $1000.

This same argument has been beaten to death a 1000 times, so I will not further discuss this.
