I just can't believe all the bickering and debate over something unknown. o_O

I mean the OP last posted since May 28th, yet here we are on June 7th arguing "what ifs" . Let it die unless the OP wants to address any of the many questions asked.

I agree. Thank you for being a voice of reason here!

It's hard to say. People who buy Titan XP's, often get the idea that they can go in and turn all settings to max (not just using the preset Ultra), and never have an issue. The OP has not mentioned any settings, so we have no idea what he's doing, but if he is of the type who go into the settings and just turn everything to max, he may find himself in this position. Even in a 4 year old game.

Exactly the point

I provided links above, showing my 1070 and older cards running the game maxed out just fine. It's not the card or the settings. A third party software could be the culprit, although I also used MSI Afterburner in my benchmark.

It's an UE3 game if I am not mistaken and I may had enabled the custom direct 3D option if it would be needed. I don't remember.

thank you for the replies.

- yes, i maxed out all the settings "manually"
- the system is old but it s a fresh w10 install (and full updated) (it was the second game i tried) only MSI AB and another program are running in the background.
- I saw your video and i have half fps in the same spot (on the 1st beach ).

my conclusion was : latest nvidia drivers destroyed performance on this old game. I should check an older driver.
(on DOOM Battlefield ... and new games performances are perfect)

edit: i m using the last w10 version and the last nvidia driver

Well you made be go back and recheck. These shots are from the latest |Risen 3 Titan Lords Enhanced Edition| version of the game.

398.11 driver, Windows 10 1803 X64 Pro, 8600k+1070 stock, 1080p.

Does not seem to run any better on the 8600k than it did on the OC 2500K, but I will do a proper test at some point.

Send me your system to troubleshoot. I will send it back after. Promise. xD
