It's designed specifically for SocketA chips from 1.1GHz to 1.5GHz but would probably work fine on FCPGA (Intel) chips. The manufacturer claims an operating noise level of less than 25 dBA, which is almost silent!

this sound really good -- if it performs as well as that statement makes it sound (ie, no sound ;-) then this could be a really good cooler. As long as its $15 or less... heh. I know Golden Orb's aren't the best, but for performance vs. price vs. sound, it's a good solution. Most people I build systems for don't want to spend ANY money on a cooler let alone $40 for an ALPHA or similiar.
