Even if someone felt like giving you advice on 'Titan microstutter' they couldn't graph it for you and show you the results. That's really not how it works.
anyone could. not like it is rocket science.
you have to own two titan first. enable sli. load fraps. select benchmark frametimes. go play a game. hit record (F11). open frametime log with excel then graph or open frametime log with fraps microstutter-test with auto graph. post here.
7970cf is nice, however eyeinfinity noise and microstutter could use some serious polishing. before spending upward of 2k on two gpu. like to see if the microstutter is better addressed.
spamming?
this is asking a legit question before spending twice as much $$$$.
Fraps doesn't measure Nvidias framemetering, therefore it is not exactly reliable for Nvidia cards.
I have Titan SLI and it works very well. Only below 40fps I feel some microstutter.
Exactly this. PCPer did a fully Titan SLI frametime charted review which shows everything you need to know: http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphi...AN-Performance-Review-and-Frame-Rating-Update
exactly my thoughtsI dont see how the Titan would be better than previous. Same thing, same technology, same problems with SLI/CF.
Nvida has really gone above and beyond by supporting four Titans in SLI. Take advantage of the opportunity as the microstutter is minimal due to hardware frametime management on the video cards. Quad SLI Titans is your answer.

I can't even begin to comprehend how stupid one has to be to spend $4000 for video games. Proportionally, you better have a 40 million dollar house, a 1 million dollar car, and you should also have a yacht.

ask the traveler how much they spend on traveling around the world?
ask the live-to-eat how much they spend on different resturants everynight 365 days a year?
ask the racer how much they spend on performance parts?
etc, etc, etc.
what is your passion?
-----
for my other passion - spearing/diving. i have already spent 40 times that amount and have not regretted a penny.
as for this pc hobby (not passion). 2k on a pair of titan is the ceiling. 1k is the sweet spot.
