lol @ the (stuttering)

I don't think CF and SLI should be compared until we see more info from PCPER.

What's with poor performance of Nvidia cards in Dirt:Showdown ? Is this because of DirectCompute ? (I thought GK110 is supposed to have great compute performance).

Something to do with the lighting method used within. I don't think many people bought Dirt: Showdown to find out.

It would be very interesting to see how close a 7970 with a 1300 core clock would be to a Titan in these benchmarks.

What is a Toxic 7970? Just a 7970 with 6gb mem?

Its Sapphire's top end 7970.

OK, AMD needs to release more 6gb cards. Toxic looks better stacked up against the Titan.

It looks better because this reviewer is horrible. They are showing that their Titan is locked at 876mhz...

Does not paint a picture of actual performance. It does show that you can get close to that performance from a 1200mhz 7970 though.

^can that be done? I thought you can't disable dynamic gpu boost on the Keplers...

This part translated in english says something about 876mhz, but it's not entirely deciferable ...

Of course it can be done, more easily than flipping the bios switch uncovering the 1200mhz bios on the Toxic. Of course all that makes a more interesting article which translates to hits.

It was basically a stock kepler with boost. Just wasn't oced. By oc you could probably get an additional 10% performance from titan.

Do you mean manual overclocking, or that it does not dynamically overclock through the gpu boost feature?

Easier than flipping a switch? Not much is easier than flipping a single switch...

Pretty soon, 7970 will even surpass Titan, and 3 generations after Titan. It's utterly amazing. J/k
Assuming the next reviewer locks the Titan at 500MHz instead of 876.

No, no, no :( Titan needs to be 3GB.

6gb Sapphire VaporX(Non Toxic) is $599, thats not cheap either for 25% less performance. Then you got the Toxic which is what?? $699 for 15% less performance. So it kind of lines up I guess. You just pay a real premium for a 6gb card.

Anyone here have a 7970 that clocks up to 1300Mhz or beyond? Would like to see some numbers in comparison.
