Tis the season ...

So I was coming back from a night out with friends yesterday and ended up having to take the bus on the way home due to an unexpected turn of events. Anyway, so these two guys sitting behind me on the bus were arguing if Jesus died on the cross or not. One of the guys, obviously a christian said yes and the other no. It appeared that they were pretty good friends and stuff until it got ugly. They almost came to blows before a couple of other guys and myself jumped in and cooled it down.

People, remember the separation of church and state some time ago? Yeah, that's the world we live in. Don't try to force your religious beliefs down other peoples' throats.

As Santa says: Tis the season to be jolly! 🙂

Never discuss religion whilst riding public transit.
I have a friend who, otherwise, is a very nice person, but he loves to talk loudly in public places, including the many times we've ridden public transit together. It's almost enough to make me avoid public places with him.

So, I can't convert you, eh?😀

To what? Even though I agreed with the guy who was saying 'no', the moral of the story is that you can try to explain your beliefs to others, but should always be careful not to be too forceful. That's what happened in this case and I blame both of them.

I believe in a world beyond this material existence. Whatever my belief may be, it gives me great solace in times of misery and disappoinment.

Now, off the soap, would I be correct to assume that you are a teenager and work in retail? If yes, I would say that there are far bigger things in life to worry about than the kind of presents you get for Christmas.

I didn't get a sports car or a diamond braclet or an xbox 360. I got a wallet made out of Duct Tape and a headache.
