Tired of the AT&T commercial with the 30 year old son asking his mom for more minutes...

Anyone else tired by this entire run of commercials? It seems like absolutely no effort goes into this campaign, and it's kinda creepy that the son seems to be about the same age as his mom... Geico/caveman this is not (though even that's getting old).

Or am I wrong and are these commercials absolutely hilarious?

Ok, so google says they're 15 years apart..

She's 38 and he's 23... Still, how many 38 year olds do you know that have 23 year old sons? And why is that 23 year old acting like he's 12?

Yea she is probably mid 30s and he is probably mid 20s. She started early.

Anyway much like the Geico caveman commercials, they were mildly amusing on the first iteration or two, but now its overplayed, not funny, and needs to die.

It's stupid, and false advertising as far as I'm concerned. Rollover minutes most definitely expire. In fact on my bill it even tells me how many minutes are going to expire by the next pay period. If they didn't I'd have over 100k minutes saved up.

Agree completely. Geico caveman is a dead horse, but this commercial was never funny or clever to begin with. Right from the start it was awkward and weird with the 30 year old son and the horribly forced minute analogy. Just stop it already.

At least the geico commercials have decent sound tracks.

Edit: WTF was I doing there...

AT&T is the worst damn cell company out there. I HATE them. If only the iPhone was available on ANY other network I'd jump ship in a heat beat.

Yes, they're very stupid and overplayed.

Yeah, every time I see that actor in these commercials with his 5 o'clock shadow, it creeps me out.

But, if we draw attention to these commercials, AT&T wins! T_T

You obviously don't live in the south (there are certainly other similar areas). Some 13-16 yo girls consider this a status symbol. I live in the south and have heard first hand a 15 yo girl innocently ask a 17 yo why she didn't have any babies.
