Who else is getting snow slammed today?
Went to work this morning and it was slightly overcast.
Driving home was a nightmare. Had to park in the road cause I couldn't pull into my driveway. Snow plow came buy and almost buried my truck, took an act of God to get it out. Then I had to snowblow and shovel for almost an hour before I could get my truck in.
I've lived in the Northeast almost all my life but this Winter has been totally suck! So far we've got 12 inches and we're looking at 2 to 6 more tonight turning into sleet and rain tomorrow morning.
I should have taken my wife's advice and moved south years ago.

I'm in VA now, but we're getting hammered back home.

This winter has been awesome. Winters without snow suck. Buy a snowmobile. :p

Winter has been weaksauce in central Ohio. We haven't gotten any storms over 5 inches and we only had one of those.

Late Dec through mid January made me think it was never going to end. Outside of a couple small accumulations since, there's been nothing. Most of the snowpack is gone now between 3-4 days of 40-50 weather and today's drenching; all that's left are the snowpiles.

There's more on the way...with the storm that's here on the west coast, and the arctic cold that's following it...expect more snow and cold weather to hit the mountain and plains states over the next few days.

(hell, they're even predicting a chance of snow here in the valley!)
Of course, even if it DOES snow here, it'll just be a few flakes in the air...nothing measurable...but folks will still flip out over it.

I just went out a little while ago with the tractor & cleared 5 driveways. When I got to the 6th, the little old lady had just finished shoveling by hand around her mailbox. I offered to take a couple passes through her driveway, but she had someone on the way to do it.

Same here but lower 40s...too cold to ride the motorcycle to work.

Fair amount of rain recently too.

The last of it is finally melting around here. It was get pretty bad this year as too many buildings don't shovel (no super or lazy super) leaving the sidewalk with a sheet of ice the next day.

It was sunny and 80 here today. I might go fishing tomorrow morning.

Enjoy the snow! I'm sure that's fun too.

Nope. NOVA got 5 minutes of hard rain then it stopped instantly. Right after that the sun came out and it was great all afternoon. I went out in a t-shirt and khakis.

HA HA!

No. I was disappointed we only got 6" today. The roads were too clear and boring on the way home.

I don't mind the snow. I'm ready for the cold to be done. I'm ready for winter blend gas to be done. I'm ready to be able to take a walk without my lungs freezing. I'm ready to hear the news talking heads ramble on about how the river is "rapidly approaching flood level".
