What I used on my girlfriend's PC:

First I bought those little plastic clips from Office Depot, with one sticky side. I put about 6-7 of those on the back of her desk, underneath the lip, so that you could not see them.

From the PC going to the area where the clips were, I routed all the cables into one big group and put it through a 1/2 loom, bought it from radio shack (it's black split loom) for fairly cheap. Around the loom I used a black zip-tie in several spots to tighten it up.

All you see is one big black loom coming from the back of her PC, to the back of the desk, where it isi then routed into the channels that I put there. A few of them fell off over the course of a year, so I just put some superglue on the back and then it stuck for good. Speakers are also routed to the system.

For the actual cords going to the wall, office depot has some cable routers you can put it through. You tuck all the cables into a long black strip (about 6 feet on mine) and place it against the wall. This also protects the cables from damage and such. It's great for speaker wire as well if you have a 5.1 surround sound system setup.

I'm not quite sure where exactly they fall in the Ghetto Order, but I will admit to having used them in a pinch. :p

Paper towel is better just for the longer length.
