Can't you just tag the traffic in your Hypervisor? That's what I do for my storage targets. Switch ports contain all the vlan's that my come from my VM's, and then the host tags traffic depending on the vswitch port.

Yeah, probably what I'll do, right now the server is just part of the main vlan. I want to upgrade it some time anyway. Right now it's running fedora core 9 and using virtualbox. I'd like to look into Proxmox and do a full hypervisor setup. I don't want to take down the server to upgrade or do major changes to it though, so I'll wait till I can afford to build a new one. It's due for an upgrade. The core2quad with 8GB of ram was kickass... like 7 years ago. :awe: Can't put any more ram into that box, it's maxed out.
