Tire repair kit

I had a flat tire and a coworker used a tire repair kit to patch it (it was a nail) How long do these things last? Should I replace the tire or can I keep using it?
 
I would probably continue using the tire as long as it seems to stay up and not be losing air. Check your tire pressure regularly and if it begins to seep down then look into getting another tire. 🙂
 
If it's done properly, a good patch should last the life of the tire. Technically you should replace the tire as it's "weakened" but that's a bit silly IMHO.
