They're reacting (as is Michelin) to the superior price/performance deals from Toyo, Kumho etc that are hurting their bottom line. I love competition!

Consider those brands as well, see some reviews and driving impressions on epinions and various car discussion fora. Toyo really has tires figured out as well as the big 'uns, but at much better prices!

I'm happy, my Michelin All Seasons are back where they belong (in storage0 and my car is shod, again, with the Toyo proxes T1-S that I so enjoyed all of last summer! I love spring!

Combined with Tire Rack's low prices, it's a good deal! Shipping is around $40-$50 for a set of four tires. Add about $20 per tire for tire installation by your mechanic.

I'm thinking of getting the Potenza G009 ($50 rebate)

I dont want to create a new thread because people get upset here pretty quick, but the same deal is at costco I jsut got some REVOS 285/70/16s and they had a 70 dollar rebate.

REVOS are the most amazing SUV tires out to date, check tire rack for their ratings, everything is topped out.

I love them too! (on my 98 Neon R/T) I wish they would have had this rebate a few months ago when I bought my tires!!

I bought 4 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo Tires last year for my Jeep GC. They were having the same rebate then too.

Note: The rebate form was not shipped with the tires and took a couple weeks (and a few phone calls) to get from the Tire Rack.

The tires were not "packaged" but shipped in "pairs" with string (or was it tape?) holding them together. Because of the way they were shipped, some of the raised white letters were damaged. I bought a special raised white letter pen from PepBoys to repair the scraped letters.

Lots of email spam from the TireRack too if you sign up.
