Tips or comments about this monitor?

Here it is: NEC Mitsubishi something..

It's part of the 20% dell deal thats still going on, and I've been searching and looking into specs and reviews of monitors like a mad cow.. anyone have any opinions of this one?

I'd like to know about refresh rates and picture quality, dpi, everything about it.. i know it already has a res. as indicated, so based on it and the pattern I've seen, the refresh at about 1280x1024 should be about at the LEAST 75, but probably 85??? i really dont care TOO much what it is above that.. thanks for any help!

No.. if you look in the forums for phatwallet, it's still alive.. but now, you have to call and get in on it by phone instead.

Oh by the way.. the price including the dell discount comes out to about 303$ or so..

sweet, so how long can you call to get the 20% discount than. I visited the page earlier and it didn't show the discount as still active.

It's good till the 2nd - monday I believe.. I'm not too certain on the details of how it works, but I know it's around till monday for sure.

Here's a link to the 'official' manufacturer product page. This monitor uses the Diamondtron tube, which is the same one used in higher end Iiyama and Viewsonic monitors. I've got the FP950 (based on the same tube), and have no complaints. Excellent picture, very bright, very crisp, and only one minor geometry problem in the top left corner. If you can get the FE950+ for ~ $300, that's a real deal.
