Tips on speeding up my boot time?

My new rig seems to be taking longer than it should to boot up. First black screen, then the Asus screen blips up for a second, then a DOS screen showing my drives, then the loading windows screen with the bar going across about 8 times, then the "starting windows" blue screen, then finally windows.

I've disabled everything I can in msconfig>startup.

I'm thinking there are some things in the BIOS I can adjust to make it start up quicker?

Any tips?
