Tips on cleaning my flatscreen CRT? How about my laptop screen?

Just curious if anyone had tips/suggestions on how to clean both a flatscreen CRT as well as a LCD. I've heard that you should use a soft damp cloth to clean standard CRTs, but not really sure what to do on my laptop.

Thanks!

Chad - Ignore the Windex comment below, if the screen has a anti-glare coating on it the amonia in the windex will severly screw up the screen, use a clean soft damp cloth on both types of screens and you'll be fine.

i clean my monitors with soft clothes, like eye-glass cleaning clothes... and when they get more gunky i use warm/slighty soapy water to wash then dry with the aforementioned clothe... works very well

Windex? Alcohol? Soap?

Just plain water should be fine. That's all I've ever used.

I mainly use alcohol and a clean cotton t-shirt. Also, I've used windex with success on my flat panel LCD's. As mentioned below, you should not use Windex on a laptop or any LCD panel that has anti-glare material. I used to work on Gateway laptops that had this type of material. For them, the best thing to use is water. I do prefer alcohol and/or windex as they seem to clean my screen better than plain ole' water, but they don't have any anti-glare material on them, either.
