I've got the S100. It is a great camera for what it does, taking still pictures. If you are looking for an all around camera to take action shots, trick shots, etc, this is not the camera for you. Though I hear other camera's cycle times are slower, it takes a while for the picture on this camera to be taken when you press the shutter. I use it just to take my baby's pictures (too expensive to keep on developing APS film). But I miss a lot of shots because by the time the camera takes the picture the subject may have moved.

The main reason why I bought it was because of its size. I have absolutely no second thoughts about taking it anywhere with me because it is so tiny I keep in my pant pocket. If you still think this is the camera for you, you may want to wait just a little bit longer because one of my friends just came back from Japan and said he saw the 3.4 mega pixel version of this camera.

Before I forget, the image quality is excellent but the flash is very very weak. If you take a picture of someone more than say 7-8 feet away in a dark place forget about it. It won't come out. It still takes great still pictures though. I have no regrets.

I noticed the sking tones come rather dark on this one............just got a small piece of software to fix that...........I'm not good at touching up in photoshop so had a problem

I got the camera plus 48 mb card for about 400, so I dont think I'll regret it

thanks
