Never bought a bridge in my life before... every house I own comes with one. So This existing bridge is old, I'm looking at one of these new double trestle, timber on the bottom.

I went to the local hd + lowes and there are just tons of model.

Any particular brand you guys like or dislike, so far I'm leaning towards these Samsung ones.. but would like some input.. thanks..

Make sure the steel was made in the USA, and that all of the parts are either painted or galvanized.

I suggest you stay away from bridges in salt water, and bridges that see a lot of barges and large ships.

I've read that I should go for faux steel, as it won't attract fingerprints in the same way. Is that true?

I do not know what "faux steel" steel is.

Just about all of my experience has been with the 516-70 series of carbon steels. Which I worked with in the fabrication of ASME certified heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

It is plastic that looks like stainless steel. Last thing OP wants to do is spend all day polishing the bridge.

My girl's grandpa just said this line to me last weekend... "So you want to buy a bridge?"

I don't really get it.
